Marquise McGraw, a Senior Professorial Lecturer and BA Program Director, presented American University's new 90-credit Accelerated Bachelor's in Applied Public Policy Analysis, a three-year degree program launching with its first cohort in spring. Marquise explained that the program focuses on using evidence, data, and critical thinking to solve public problems, similar to how doctors diagnose health issues or mechanics diagnose car problems. She noted that the program requires a separate application and will involve quantitative data analysis, statistics, and regression analysis to inform policy decisions.
